About Corning Little League

Corning Little League is associated with Little League Baseball in Williamsport, PA. Our charter was established in 1950. We are a member of New York State District 6 Eastern Region. See District 6 website (www.eteamz.com/nysdistrict6) .

We are located in Upstate New York in the Twin Tiers, 15 miles north of the Pennsylvania border, 75 miles west of Binghamton and 100 miles southwest of Syracuse. Our fields are located in the Denison Park Complex at the very Eastern end of the city of Corning. (See driving directions below)

We have been in this location since the 2000 season. Each of our three divisions -- major, minor and tee-ball - have their own field. We have approximately 240 children in our league. The League has six Major teams, eight Minor teams and five Tee-Ball teams. Our games are played Monday through Saturday from the end of April to the middle of June.

Our board of directors consists of seven voting members with three non-voting trustee position.

Corning has a very positive sponsor base with many of our sponsors returning year after year. (See our sponsor page for full details)

We are very fortunate that Wendy's Old Fashioned Hamburgers Restaurant sponsors our complete Tee-Ball division. They have done so for the past 4 years and we look forward to many more years of this successful community partnership.

All of our major league games are umpired by the Chemung County Umpire Association of Elmira, New York.

We have partnered with the baseball coaching staff at Corning East High School to provide clinics and coaching assistance to our managers, coaches and players. Varsity and JV players participate in our major league tryouts, work on our fields and umpire minor league games as needed. Our little leaguers look up to these young men as role models and we are most appreciative of their time and support of baseball in the Corning area.
